Manage to the best case, plan for the worst

When we really want to make a difference we push for the best outcome, we get it done fast. We are deliberate in our work. We have a sense of urgency and an expectation of success!

As a manager, it takes courage to push for a faster, better outcome. To see in people what they are capable of instead of only seeing limits. But that’s what leaders do – we find the best fit of task assignment to an individual. Then, we courageously let go!

And then we put a plan in place just in case life gets in the way of our creative ideas.
