Don’t use electronic communication for anything that matters

It is easy to get into the habit of texting. It is fast and easy. But there are limits and risks. How can we tell when the ‘conversation’ is leading to confusion? Is the person distracted? Driving? What should the rules of engagement be? When is a phone call better? A face-to-face? When is it time to put the device down? The answer is simple….when it matters. It matters when you care enough about the person and message that a misunderstanding is not acceptable. It’s that easy.
